Know Before You Go

  1. We stayed at Ricketts Glen State Park Campground for days 1-3 and Ohiopyle State Park Campground for days 4-6.  Both were fantastic! Reservations for both can be made here- Pennsylvania State Park Camping.
  2. Waterproof footwear is recommended for most of the trails on this itinerary.
  3. Book rafting tours for Ohiopyle in advance.
  4. Bushkill Falls is on private property and does require an entrance fee ($20/adult, $10/child).  8 incredible waterfalls along the 2-mile trail do make the fairly steep price worth it.
  5. If you click on any park name throughout the itinerary, you will be taken to a park-specific post with more information on lodging, dining, cell service, and trail tips for that park.
